Veggie Margherita Pizza


Do you ever have those nights were you’re not super hungry for dinner? I had a night like that last week, so I whipped up this Margherita pizza with a few extra veggies.

This pizza is three of my favorite things: quick, easy, and delicious! In hind sight some onions would have been an amazing addition, but live and learn!

Veggie Margherita Pizza

serves: 4

calories: 222 (according to MyFitnessPal)


1 whole wheat pizza crust

1/4 cup pizza sauce

1 cup pizzeria blend cheese pizza

1 roma tomato – sliced

1/4 cup fresh mozzarella – chopped small

1/4 cup spinach

1/4 cup fresh basil


  1. spread pizza sauce on pizza crust
  2. sprinkle half the shredded cheese over the sauces
  3. add other toppings to pizza
  4. sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese over the pizza
  5. baked 10-12 minutes or until cheese is golden
  6. ENJOY!
