These Eggshells You Tell Me to Tread // What I Wore

IMG_8246

Oh my gosh, you guys, I can’t believe it’s already April! Where has this year gone?? Tomorrow morning bight and early I’m flying out to Tucson for my bestie’s wedding. It seemed so far away when she got engaged last year, and nowย here it is!

I haven’t seen her in almost two years, and it should be a fun weekend.ย I’ve never been to Arizona before so obviously hiking and running is on my list of things to do. I’d love to be able to earn my S.P.E.W medal while I’m out there, and I’ll need to stay active to work off all the calories I’ll be consuming out there! There’ll be Mexican food at the rehearsal and I’m pretty sure she mentioned something about a pasta bar at the wedding reception – plus the obvious cake, wine and whiskey. Because all of those things are totally paleo, right? Haha. Sometimes life calls for a cheat, and weddings are definitely one of those things!

In other news this outfit makes me really mad. Last time I wore this shirt I spilled coffee all over it on my way into work. When it came out of the washing machine I checked to make sure the stain was gone before I put it in the dryer. I also double checked to make sure it was ok before I put it on the Friday these pictures were taken. Then I went to my grandma’s house for donuts (a Friday tradition in my family), went to the post office to get my passport renewed and took these pictures before I headed into work. I’d been at work for over an hour when I looked in the bathroom mirror and realized… the stain is still there. It’s super faint, but it’s there. Boo. So now I need a new standard white and black striped 24/7 tee. I hate re-buying clothes.
